Dual Language Sound Spelling Cards Designed for Spanish–English Dual Language Classrooms. These alphabet/sound spelling cards were created specifically for dual language and bilingual classrooms to support early biliteracy development and cross-linguistic awareness. Unlike traditional alphabet cards, this set intentionally highlights the connections between Spanish and English sounds. Letters with the same sound have the same image and border.  Letters with different sounds have different images and borders and letters with simialr sounds have the same image with a red and blue border. These features help students with cross-linguistic analysis.  The Spanish set includes all syllable sounds, dígrafos, diptongos, and letras tramposas. The English set includes all letter-sounds, digraphs, diphthongs, vowel teams, and r-controlled vowels. Printed in full color on gloss heavy card stock, the Large cards (8.5″ x 14″ ) are perfect for display in classrooms. The small cards (5.5″ x 8.5″) are printed on the same heavy card stock, durable and perfect for use in small group instruction.
